surfacedestroyed
As bikers speed through the track, they come to a halt in awe of the beautiful and vibrant landscape of pavement and rocks surrounding them. Yet, all too quickly, that awe turns to horror as they realise that the track surface has been brutally destroyed.
The sight of deep gashes, ruts and jagged exposed rock makes it clear that the track has been improperly utilised and the surface must have been laid hastily. With the complex terrain and constant off-road use, the track has been worn down to the point that it is almost useless to those who want to ride it.
The destruction of the track reveals an ongoing problem in the riding community as a whole. Although most bikers love to ride and appreciate the beauty of a track, there are far too many instances of careless riding and not taking into account the condition of the track. This is made worse by the fact that some sections of the track may not be heavily trafficked, so the damage can go undetected until it is too late.
Unfortunately, the destruction of this track is a reminder of the importance of taking care of our riding areas. Bikers must recognize the importance of maintaining the condition of their tracks and trails, and take the necessary steps to protect their beloved tracks. This includes understanding their bike's capabilities, forming an understanding of the track surface, and practicing good track etiquette when riding.
We can still save the track and make it rideable once more, but it requires the collective effort of riders, track owners and the local community. Knowing the damage caused can help prevent future destruction and ensure our riding areas are kept intact and most importantly, safe to ride.
