My family is a typical example of a modern households. We live in an apartment that has three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and two bathrooms. We are a family of five, my parents, my two sisters and I.
My parents work full time and do the best they can to provide for our family. My sisters and I are in school during the day and always come home to a warm house and a meal prepared by our parents. We help out with everyday chores and tasks around the house like cleaning and laundry.
At the end of a long day, we gather around the dinner table to have a meal that our family prepared together. We take time to bond and discuss our day. We also enjoy having friends and family over for dinners every now and then. After dinner, we watch a movie or play board games together.
Having a sample household such as ours, helps show that having a modern family doesn't have to be expensive or complicated. There is no better feeling than 3 loving and supportive sisters, an understanding and caring father and an amazing mother that looks after us- and that's home.
