Jimmy lost his way home in a heavy snowstorm. It was a cold night but he was determined to find his way home. He had been walking for hours but it was still snowing and he had no shelter.
He was sure he would freeze to death but then he heard the sound of a motor. He looked back and he was relieved to see a snowmobile approaching. It was his neighbor, Mr.James driving the snowmobile.
Mr.James saw Jimmy and pulled up alongside him. He had been searching for him and was relieved to have found him before it was too late. He offered to take Jimmy home, but Jimmy refused at first. He was embarrassed to have been lost in the snow. But Mr.James was insistent and finally Jimmy agreed.
They rode the snowmobile back to Jimmy's home. When they got there, Jimmy's family was relieved and thanked Mr.James for his kindness. Jimmy realized how lucky he was that night and thanked Mr. James for his help.
Mr.James had put his own safety in danger to rescue Jimmy from a cold night in the snow. His selfless act of kindness had saved Jimmy from a terrible fate. It was a wonderful example of the power of compassion and friendship that could be found in a difficult situation.
